How many airport el salvador have?

There are four international airports in El Salvador:

* El Salvador International Airport (SAL), located in Comalapa, La Paz Department, approximately 44 kilometers (27 miles) southeast of San Salvador. It is the country's main airport and serves as a hub for Avianca El Salvador, VECA Airlines, and Volaris El Salvador.

* Ilopango International Airport (ILS), located in Ilopango, San Salvador Department, about 10 kilometers (6 miles) northeast of the city center. It is a smaller airport that primarily handles domestic and regional flights, as well as cargo operations.

* Oscar Arnulfo Romero International Airport (OAR), located in Metapan, Santa Ana Department, approximately 100 kilometers (62 miles) northwest of San Salvador. It is a minor international airport that serves the western region of the country.

* La Unión International Airport (LUU), located in La Unión, La Unión Department, about 200 kilometers (124 miles) southeast of San Salvador. It is a new international airport that was inaugurated in 2021 and primarily handles cargo flights.
