Azerbaijan is a landlocked country in the South Caucasus region of Eurasia. It is bordered by the Caspian Sea to the east, Russia to the north, Georgia to the west, Armenia to the southwest, and Iran to the south. Despite being landlocked, Azerbaijan has a sea port on the Caspian Sea called Baku.
