Are there lobster in lake Michigan?

There are no native freshwater lobsters in Lake Michigan, but there are two populations of non-native lobsters in the Great Lakes. The American lobster (Homarus americanus) is found in Lake Superior and Lake Huron. The European lobster (Homarus gammarus) is found in Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. These lobsters were most likely introduced to the Great Lakes by humans, either intentionally or accidentally.
