Rivers do not flow from the ocean inland. They originate in elevated areas—mountains, hills, springs, or glaciers—and flow downhill under gravity toward lower elevations, eventually emptying into lakes, seas, or oceans. The water cycle (evaporation, precipitation, runoff) sustains this flow. The idea of rivers flowing from the ocean inward contradicts fundamental hydrology.
