Bus Trips to Las Vegas From Southern California

Travel from Los Angeles to Las Vegas is almost a rite of passage for locals and visitors alike. The 266-mile journey draws visitors through the heart of the blistering Mojave Desert, past the state-line gambler's oasis of Whiskey Pete's and finally into the midst of Las Vegas. Traveling by bus is a safe, less taxing way to travel and is more environmentally sound.

Departure points include the downtown, East Los Angeles, Hacienda Heights, Monterey Park, Rowland Heights and San Gabriel bus stations. Arrival points include Chinatown, Harrah's, the Tropicana and the Stratosphere Hotel. As of 2010, the cost of a round-trip ticket was $45 and one-way tickets were $30.
