Two companies have been offering haunted tours in Cleveland since the late '90s and early 2000s: Psychic Sonya has been running tours since 2002, and Haunted Cleveland Ghost Tours has been operating since 1998.
Haunted bus tours travel all over the Cleveland area, visiting downtown haunts, the shores of Lake Erie and nearby Medina County and Cuyahoga Valley. One bus tour even takes guests to the U.S.S. Cod, a former World War II battleship.
Haunted Cleveland Ghost Tours offers outings based on famous local mysteries, haunted castles and lighthouses and of a sunken submarine. Cemetery tours and a special Halloween excursion top the list of tours offered by Psychic Sonya.
Tour cost varies, ranging from $37.50 to $60 per person. Psychic Sonya tours include beverages, and both companies require reservations.
