The ports of call include Costa Maya, Mexico, Belize City, Belize, Cozumel, Mexico; and Georgetown, Grand Cayman. This ship was built in 2007 and has a passenger capacity of over 4,000. The on-board amenities include an impressive list of family activities as well as family-friendly staterooms and suites. Water sports include a surf simulator, water park and whirlpool. The Royal Promenade area is full of restaurants and shops, and the ship features 12 bars and lounges for adult relaxation.

    Miracle

    • Literature Themed Cruise

      Through January 2011, Carnival Line's "Miracle" features an eight-night round-trip cruise from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The ports of call include Colon, Panama, Puerto Limon, Costa Rica and Belize City, Belize. The ship was fully refurbished in 2009 and has a passenger capacity of over 2,600. The ship has a literary theme featuring Gatsby's Garden on the promenade deck and The Raven Library. Unique restaurants include Sam's piano bar, taken from a scene in "Casablanca," and Nick and Nora's, a reservations-only supper club named for characters in Dashiell Hammett's novel "The Thin Man."

    Ryndam

    • Holland America cruise ship flag

      Holland America's ship "Ryndam" is slated to continue Through April 2011 an itinerary of cruises alternating between seven and fourteen days. The seven-day cruise ports include Key West, Florida; Mahogany Bay, Honduras; Santo Tomas de Castilla, Guatemala; and Costa Maya, Mexico. The fourteen-day itinerary has the same ports of call as the seven-day one, plus stops in Belize City, Belize, and Roatan, Honduras. The ship was fully refurbished in 2004 and has a passenger capacity of 1,200. On-board amenities include a casino, a two-story grand dining room and a culinary arts center complete with live cooking demonstrations broadcast on large-scale plasma screen televisions.
