For September 2010 to March 2011, Holland America's flagship, the Rotterdam VI, is featuring alternating 30- and 60-day round-trip cruises from San Diego. Each visits Hawaii, with the 30-day option adding additional ports in Tahiti and Marquesas and the 60-day cruise stopping on the Pacific side of Central America and Mexico.

Round-trip cruises from San Diego exclusively focused on Mexico include the Carnival Spirit, which features eight-day cruises including three ports in Mexico. The season runs from March 2010 to April 2011. The ship follows the eight-day cruise itinerary each week, but does features seven-day, five-day and four-day sailings throughout the season. Springtime prices are as low as $50 per person, per day on selected sailings, based on double occupancy of an inside cabin.
