All ages of singles are welcome aboard this Costa ship. The week ports of call include Nassau, Bahamas; Ocho Rios, Jamaica; Grand Cayman Island and Cozumel, Mexico. The ship leaves Fort Lauderdale on Jan. 31, 2010, in the afternoon and kicks off with a singles cruise mixer orientation. Some of the private singles cruises events offered include: free cocktail parties, theme nights, dance lessons, speed dating, bar crawls, pool parties and karaoke festivities. Price ranges are $666 to $1,875 and a free roommate matching service that pairs you with a person of the same gender and age range are offered to lower the cost of the cabin.
Other amenities included in the cruise are all-you-can-eat food, four different bars, exercise room, five swimming pools, hot tub, fitness classes, spa and beauty salon, jogging track, sauna, Turkish baths, basketball, tennis and volleyball courts and tournaments and contests and game nights. In addition, one cruise director is assigned to the singles cruise groups to ensure that all have a fantastic time.
In addition to all the activities on the cruise ship, optional excursions are available when the boat is docked in one of the ports of call. While the cost to participate is extra, it is well worth it to get off the boat and explore the islands. Nearly 50 extra trips are planned for the week at sea. Some of the highlights include a trip to Dunn's River Falls in Ocho Rios Jamaica. This 600-foot natural staircase of cascading water will enthrall visitors. A scuba diving adventure at the Grand Caymen Islands is sure to bring a romantic twist to a couple who may have just met days earlier. In Cozumel, Mexico the Palancar Reef is one of the largest in the world and a great place to explore the sights and see the marine life.
After disembarking from the boat, remember that you are in Fort Lauderdale. Spend a couple days on the beautiful sands and in the place where spring break reigns year-round for area singles.
