What Month is it Best to Go on a Cruise?

To find the best time to cruise, travelers must ask themselves when is the best time for them. Cruisers rarely want to get away from crowds for long so often it's price that dictates their best-time choice. The climate when traveling also comes into question; there are sun worshippers and there are people who would rather hide in the shade.
  1. Summer Season

    • Cruising in the height of summer (July and August) is a necessity for people who are travelling with children and do not wish to take them out of school. Those who wish to get away from screaming children will not find this the best time to go. It will also be a lot more expensive as travel companies boost the price. However, depending on where the cruise is, holiday makers will get the best weather during this time.

    Spring Season

    • April, May and June are good months to cruise as the weather is warm but not sweltering. The cruise will more likely to be filled with couples rather than families, making these month a good choice for those wanting a more relaxing and quieter time.

    Winter Season

    • From October to January people tend to crave some sun, especially during those gloomy dark nights. Cruises round the Caribbean are especially popular during this time as the sun and heat is guaranteed. The hurricane season, from the end of August through November, is an important consideration.
