What happened to HMS Ariadne?

HMS Ariadne (_"Ceres-class"_) sank with all hands on September 11th, 1809 whilst blockading Rochefort, France. This was due to a chance collision with the merchant vessel _HMS Woolwich_ (_"Roebuck-class"_). This came about due to heavy rains and reduced visibility during the night and there were no survivors in the end. All 218 lives were lost.
