Is the Mississippi river back to normal barge traffic?

The Mississippi river is not currently (January 2023) completely back to normal barge traffic. In October of 2022, the Mississippi River reached its lowest level ever recorded, halting nearly all the river barge traffic. The river did rise enough in November for some barge traffic to resume, but it is anticipated to take months before river levels are fully restored and towboat traffic along the vital Mississippi River shipping corridor returns to normal.
