Plot
The story follows the lives of two sisters, Nisha (Hira Mani) and Zoya (Iqra Aziz), who are born into a conservative family. Nisha is the elder sister, who is beautiful, intelligent, and kind-hearted. Zoya, on the other hand, is the younger sister, who is also beautiful but is not as intelligent as her sister.
Due to their different personalities, Nisha and Zoya have different relationships with their parents. Nisha is their father's favorite child, while Zoya is their mother's favorite child. This favoritism leads to a lot of jealousy and resentment between the two sisters.
As they grow older, Nisha and Zoya's lives take different paths. Nisha gets married to a rich man, and Zoya is forced to marry a poor man. Nisha's marriage is happy and successful, while Zoya's marriage is unhappy and abusive.
Despite their different circumstances, Nisha and Zoya remain close sisters. They are always there for each other, no matter what. Amul Huzn is a story about love, loss, and the importance of family.

Production
The drama serial is directed by Saima Waseem and written by Umera Ahmed. It is produced by Fahad Mustafa and Dr. Ali Kazmi under their banner Big Bang Entertainment.

The series started airing on ARY Digital from 1 July 2019 every Monday at 8:00 PM.
