What is Mini Israel?

Mini Israel is a large open-air model park at the foot of the Latrun Monastery, near the city of Modi'in-Maccabim-Re'ut in central Israel. Mini Israel contains scale models of many important buildings, infrastructure and landmarks in Israel, including holy places, government buildings, historic sites, kibbutzim, nature reserves and other important sites. Visitors can experience a tour through 16 unique "Landscapes of Israel", a 1:25 scale replica of the country, covering 35,000 square meters (8.6 acres) of lush green gardens.
