The CN Tower uses approximately 2.5 to 3 megawatt-hours of electricity per day. This is equivalent to the electricity consumption of approximately 2,500 to 3,000 average Canadian households. The majority of this electricity is used for lighting, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and operating the tower's elevators.
