Go online to the SBB Ticket Shop and register your personal information. You can peruse train fares and fees but to book your ticket you must first be registered.
Click on 'Trips to Europe,' then navigate to 'Click & Rail Europe,' 'Click & Rail (Germany).'
Select 'Bern' from the first column of cities.
Choose 'Berlin HBF,' which is the central railway station in Berlin, Germany. Click 'Next.'
Examine the schedule and fees. If you travel on a Wednesday or Thursday you will usually find a cheaper fare.
Select the day you want to depart from Bern.
Type the name of the traveler and date of birth if it is different from the name you registered under. Select 'Next.' A confirmation will appear. If it is correct, proceed to 'Checkout.'
Fill out the requested credit card information and print your tickets.
Go to the Eurail website and choose 'Eurail Selectpass.'
Select 'Adult,' 'Youth' or 'Saver' (a special pass for two or more people traveling together). They differ in price.
Review the chart to determine how many countries you want to visit. Three is the minimum. Select 'buy now.'
Select the pass you want to purchase, how many adults or children are traveling and whether you want "Pass Security" (insurance to replace your pass should it get lost or stolen while you travel).
Enter your name and enter Switzerland (for Bern), Germany (for Berlin) and the name of a third country you might want visit. Remember you must book a minimum of 3 countries. When you're done, select 'Add Details.'
Decide your ticket shipping options and enter that information
Review your order carefully, make credit card payment and you're done booking your train travel!
