Spend a few days at Lake Marian Paradise Marina & RV Resort, which has a large lake and 5,800 acres of land. The resort is located in Kenansville, about an hour away from Orlando. You can reserve a RV space, an efficiency or cabin. If you want to fish, the general store stocks live bait and fishing supplies. Some groceries, ice and toiletries are also available. You can bring your own watercraft or rent a pontoon boat from $85 as of 2010. Take a walk through the nearby Prairie Lakes Wildlife Management Area, which is crisscrossed with numerous trails. Most people visit from December 1 to March 31. The staff recommends arranging reservations during this time.
