Hostels in Central New York

New York is one of the most fascinating travel destinations. It's also one of the most expensive cities for hotels, especially in midtown Manhattan. Budget-minded travelers who want to save money often stay in hostels. Some hostels are pricier than in other cities, and can be slightly more expensive than budget motels, but hostels are typically better organized. Hostel guests share a bath with others, although in rare cases the bath is private. Hotel guests share rooms with one person in a double room, or as many as 10 or more in a dormitory-style room. Hostel rates in New York City range from about $35 a night to $130 for a private room.
