Hotels Near Stony Bottom, West Virginia

Stony Bottom, West Virginia was once known as Seldom Seen and Driftwood, and is home to the Hunter's Reunion. Stony Bottom is located between Greenbrier River and Greenbrier River Trail, and is three miles from the turnoff for the Snowshoe Mountains. Stony Bottom does not offer any accommodations for visitors to the town, but there are several hotels, motels and lodges located in the nearby communities and within the Snowshoe Mountains.

The Inn is located 30 miles from Stoney Bottom, the classic 1901 rail line at the Cass Scenic Railroad State Park, four miles from skiing at the Snowshoe Mountain Resort, and 20 miles from National Radio Astronomy Observatory.     Inn at Snowshoe

    • The Inn at Snowshoe is located Edray, at the base of Snowshoe Mountains and 20 minutes from Stony Bottom in West Virginia. The hotel features include an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, exercise room, arcade, on-site restaurant the Red Fox Restaurant, and full bar, gift shop and full service front desk. For those who would like an alternative to the inn's restaurant, there are several local restaurants including Foxfire Grille, Taste of Asia, Ember Restaurant, Red Rover Restaurant, Hearth, and Shaky Jake's.     Soaring Eagle Lodge

    • The Soaring Eagle Lodge is located at the south end of the Snowshoe Mountain Resort. Guests have the choice of staying in one-, two- or three-bedroom units with full kitchens, gas fireplaces and balconies. Massages are available by appointment and the Lodge offers a heated garage for parking. The Hearth is an on-site wine bar exclusively for guests at the Soaring Eagle Lodge. Ember restaurant is located on the grounds of the Lodge for guest dining. Local off-site dining options include Red Rover Restaurant, Hearth, Foxfire Grille, Taste of Asia, Shaky Jake's, and Tei. Nearby attractions include the Raven Club House for golf, the Cranberry Gables, the National Radio Astronomy Observatory, the Cass Scenic Railroad, and the Highland Scenic Highway.
