Wanderlust World Wanderlust World Greenbackville is a tiny unincorporated community on the coast of Virginia. It is located just south of the Maryland state line. The town's history goes back to 1867 and, in 1874, it was officially given the name Greenbackville by the United States Postal Service. Today, there are no hotels in Greenbackville, though there are plenty of places to stay on Chincoteague Island, just a 30-minute drive away.

While there is no restaurant on the premises, there are plenty of places to eat in the immediate vicinity, including AJ's Restaurant, Village Restaurant, Don's Seafood Restaurant, Maria's Family Restaurant and Steamer's Seafood Restaurant. The hotel has its own laundromat. For fitness and relaxation, a swimming pool and fitness center are on the premises. Pets are not permitted at this Hampton Inn property.
The Comfort Suites on Chincoteague Island is located one mile from Assateague Island National Seashore. Guests of the Comfort Suites are treated to the hotel's trademark Savory Starts breakfast each morning. The hotel contains two waterfront swimming pools as well as a hot tub. Miss Molly's Inn is a bed and breakfast situated in a seven-bedroom Victorian house, which boasts five different porches. It is located on historic Main Street. Guests are treated to a two-course gourmet breakfast each morning. In the afternoon, the staff can pack a picnic lunch for you to take to the beach. An English afternoon tea is also offered. Guests can also make use of beach cruisers to explore the island.
The Waterside Inn is a family-owned and operated located directly on the waterfront. All rooms feature views of the ocean and private balconies. Free boat docking is offered at the hotel's private marina. The Waterside Inn also has a heated swimming pool.
