The small, unincorporated town of Kentontown, Kentucky, is located along Route 62 in Robertson County, about six miles southwest of Mt. Olivet and about 17 miles northwest of Blue Licks Battlefield State Park. While you won't find any hotels or other accommodations in Kentontown itself, there are a few places you can stay while vacationing in the area.

The park is located about 17 miles northwest of Kentontown and has a 32-room lodge and two cottages. Suites also include a microwave and refrigerator. The cottages have two bedrooms, two bathrooms, full kitchens and living rooms. An on-site restaurant serves southern food, but is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, and is open only for dinner on Wednesdays.

    • Another option for nearby lodging is the Evergreen Motel in Cynthiana, Kentucky, located about 19 miles southwest of Kentontown. A basic motel, the Evergreen doesn't have an on-site restaurant or swimming pool, but the rooms do have refrigerators, microwaves and wireless Internet access. Complimentary coffee is available each morning. Nearby dining options include two independent pizza restaurants, a local diner, and several fast food chains. The town of Cynthiana is also home to a local history museum and a downtown shopping district featuring Federal-period architecture.

    • Augusta, Kentucky, another town on the banks of the Ohio River, is about 29 miles north of Kentontown. The Parkview Country Inn, a quaint 10-room inn and restaurant, is located in downtown Augusta. It was built in the 1880s and features antique furniture and decor in every room. The on-site restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and several local restaurants and cafes are within walking distance. A nearby city park includes a playground, swimming pool, basketball and tennis, and the downtown shopping district--which the inn itself is part of--has numerous antique, craft and gift shops.
