Fleming County is the Covered Bridge Capital of Kentucky, and is also home to Plummers Mill. While there are no hotels in Plummers Mill proper, there are a number of hotels in nearby Morehead, which is approximately thirteen miles away. Morehead is home to the beginning of the Daniel Boone National Forest, and close to Morehead State University and Carter Caves States Resort Park. There are six national-brand motels in Morehead.
