Hotels in San Francisco With Jacuzzi Tubs

Many hotels have swimming pools, and many of those have hot tubs as well, usually in the same area as the pool. These public whirlpools find favor with hotel guests, who often seek hotels that provide this amenity. Hot tubs create a playful environment and a fun way to socialize. With the success of public hot tubs, some hotels began to provide them to hotel guests privately, in their rooms. San Francisco has several hotels that offer personal in-room whirlpool tubs.

  1. The Omni San Francisco Hotel

    • The Presidential Suite on the 16th floor of the Omni San Francisco Hotel provides luxury accommodations, including a hot tub. This unit has a separate living area and dining room plus a wet bar. Dine in the hotel at Bob's Steak and Chop House for breakfast, lunch and dinner, or walk a few blocks to Bistro Burger, where you can get the original Bistro burger or a burger variation such as the Paris burger, California burger and the Southwest burger. The Omni serves as a stop for the legendary cable cars of San Francisco.

    The Inn San Francisco

    • Built in the highly recognizable San Francisco townhouse-type structure, the Inn San Francisco is Victorian through and through. Expect touches such as lace curtains, brocade bedspreads and Tiffany-style lamps, although the decor is different in each room. Among the units with a private hot tub is the Garden Cottage, with a full kitchen, a loft bedroom and a spa tub in a special skylighted alcove. The inn serves a breakfast buffet. For lunch, stop by the Limon Peruvian Rotisserie and sample the roasted chicken, ceviche, empanadas or one of the hot or cold small-plate dishes. For dancing and live music visit Elbo Room, just a few blocks from the inn. The club features a wide variety of music styles.

    The Beresford Arms

    • The Beresford Arms, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is in the Nob Hill section of San Francisco and reflects the history and the refinement of a bygone era but provides modern conveniences as well. The Beresford Arms has jetted tubs in all its suites, which come with a kitchenette or a wet bar. Walk three blocks to the cable car line for a visit to Fisherman's Wharf, Telegraph Hill and other famous San Francisco landmarks. Visit Chinatown nearby. The Thai Stick Restaurant sits cattycorner from the Beresford Arms and serves curries, duck dishes and pad dishes.

    The Vagabond Inn

    • The Vagabond Inn in downtown San Francisco lies less than a mile from the Civic Center. The inn has jetted tubs in select rooms as well as a microwave and small refrigerator. Smoking and non-smoking rooms are available. You'll be near Union Square and Ghirardelli Square for plenty of shopping opportunities. Choose from an extensive menu of both hot and mild Chinese dishes at Henry's Hunan Restaurant. For Indian fare, try the India Garden Restaurant and enjoy dishes made from chicken, seafood and lamb.
