Eatonville is in the western part of Washington and often serves as a stopover for visitors traveling to Mt. Rainer. The city of Tacoma is located to the northwest of Eatonville, while the Mount Rainier National Park is approximately 15 miles to the east. The Northwest Trek Wildlife Park, a 723-acre park with a tram tour, is located in Eatonville as well.
The Mill Village Motel is in downtown Eatonville, 30 miles from the entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park. The motel serves a free breakfast each day at the motel and rooms have a combination tub/shower, microwave and refrigerator. The hotel is two minutes from the town's Glacier Park, which hosts the Eatonville Lions Art Festival each August. The Mountain Meadows Inn, approximately 21 miles to the Southeast of Eatonville in the town of Ashford, was originally built in the early part of the 20th century. The Inn has an outdoor Jacuzzi and offers scenic views of the area from its porch. The Mounmain Meadows Inn is within three miles of a southern entrace to Mt. Ranier National Park.
The Nisqually Lodge is located in Ashford on State Road 706 and three minutes from an entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park. It has 24-units in its chateau-style building that features a common room with a fireplace and cathedral ceiling. A free breakfast is served each morning at the hotel, which is within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Musical entertainers occasionally perform in its meeting/banquet room. The Longmire National Park Inn, Ranger Station and Museum are located approximately seven miles from the lodge.
The Holiday Inn Express Puyallup-Tacoma is in the town of Puyallup, 25 miles north of Eatonville in the eastern suburbs of Tacoma. The Holiday Inn is 15 minutes from Fort Lewis, the McChord Air Force Base and Tacoma. It is also within walking distance of a mall that has over 120 shops and a movie theater. The hotel serves a free breakfast and has an indoor swimming pool and whirlpool, and a fitness center that is open 24 hours a day. The antique shops in downtown Puyallup are two miles from the hotel. The Tacoma Glass Museum is 12 miles away.
