Meacham is a small town in a rural and rugged wilderness area in the northwestern corner of Oregon. Meacham is located along Interstate 84. This section of the interstate is also known as the Old Oregon Trail. Attractions in the area include horseback riding tours and day trips to the wine country around Walla Walla, which is 40 minutes to the north across the Washington state line. Hiking and fishing are among the other available activities in area. The popular Pendleton Round-Up rodeo is held every year approximately 1/2 hour north of Meacham.
