Touted as one of the top eight places to live in Arizona by "Phoenix Magazine," Litchfield Park is a small residential community 16 miles west of central Phoenix. Settled in 1910, the city is home to sidewalk cafes, a one-of-a-kind resort and several golf courses. Its close proximity to larger cities like Goodyear and Phoenix makes it an accessible base for those hoping to avoid the bustling cities.
The Wigwam Golf Resort & Spa is Litchfield Park's sole hotel-style accommodation. Established in 1918, the now 331-room resort features three championship golf courses, nine tennis courts, three swimming pools, a spa and fitness center. All guest rooms come furnished with luxury linens and southwestern decor, while suites include added amenities like private patios or balconies, an adobe fireplace or Jacuzzi tubs. On-site dining options include the poolside Cabana Grill and The Grill at the Wigwam, a Western-themed establishment that serves American specialties indoors or on the patio overlooking the 18th green of the resort's Blue course. The Wigwam Resort is about seven miles from the Wildlife World Zoo and Aquarium.
Situated in the heart of Phoenix's West Valley, the Residence Inn is two miles south of Litchfield Park in Goodyear.
