Located just south of the Monongahela river from downtown Pittsburgh, the Mt. Washington neighborhood offers many of Pittsburgh's parks and green spaces. The neighborhood also boasts the country's oldest, continually running, incline cable car. Built in 1870, the incline offers a panoramic view of Pittsburgh. If looking to cruise the three rivers, you are only five blocks from the Clipper ships. If the fine dining cuisine of The Terrace Room, light snacks of Palm Court or the pub food or the Tap Room are not enough, there are several nearby choices, such as Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and Bravo Franco Italian cuisine.
