Algoma, Wisconsin is a town of approximately 3,100 on the shores of Lake Michigan. Algoma is known for its historic buildings constructed of cream city brick and is home to Wisconsin's oldest winery, von Stiehl's and one of Wisconsin's oldest fishing shanties, the Art Dettman Fish Shanty, which was constructed in the 1920s.

The Belle Isle Inn is a bed and breakfast located only a few blocks from Lake Michigan. The Inn offers an afternoon reception of wine and hors d'oeuvres, a daily four-course breakfast and spa services. The Inn has two rooms, one with a king bed and one with a queen bed. Both rooms have a fireplace, TV and en-suite bathroom. Room rate is $125 plus tax as of January 2011.
