New Hampshire's Great North is known for its forests, lakes and picturesque beauty. Cabins sleep up to six at Akers Pond Inn. Your room rate will vary based on the number of occupants because a continental breakfast is part of the package. Most rooms have bathrooms, although some use shared baths. Akers Pond has a recreation room with satellite TV that guests can use as part of their room rate. However, those who want a TV in-room pay a rental fee. Rates as of January 2011 run from $50 per night for one person to $150 for six. Summer rates are $25 per person including breakfast.
The next closest motel-range lodging to Errol is 19 miles down Highway 16 in Dummer. The Great Northern Moose Lodge sits along the Androscoggin River and offers three guest rooms with private bath, and two sharing a common bath. Continental breakfast is included in rates. Guests staying longer than three nights can ask for special access to the kitchen. January 2011 rates are $85 a night for double occupancy and $50 a night for single with discounts available for longer stays.
