Greene is a small town located in Chenango County, New York. The town was named after General Nathaneal Greene, who served in the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. The Chenango River runs through the town is a perfect spot for fishing. However, if you prefer indoor activities, Greene has many antique shops and recreational facilites.
