Elkton is a small town in south central Kentucky, about halfway between Hopkinsville and Russellville. Elkton is also near Clarksville, Tennessee. This rural area is the birthplace of Jefferson Davis, the president of the Confederacy during the Civil War and several reminders of Davis can be found in the area.
