Located near an exit of Interstate 95 and promoting itself as the lone full-service hotel in Melbourne, the Holiday Inn is less than one mile from the Brevard Zoo and is 15 minutes from the Kennedy Space Center. The Duran Golf Club, as well as other golf courses, is in the immediate area. This is a smoke-free hotel with an outdoor pool and a combination restaurant and lounge. A little over three miles to the west of Club 52 and off an exit of Interstate 95, the Hampton Inn Melbourne/Viera hotel offers quick access to area attractions such as the Kennedy Space Center, the Brevard Zoo and the Sebastian Inlet State Recreational area. Although it does not have its own restaurant, it does serve a free breakfast. A handful of restaurants are also within walking distance. Hotel highlights include a business center, fitness room and swimming pool. The least expensive rooms at the start of 2011 listed at $98 a night.
The Candlewood Suites Melbourne/Viera hotel is two miles down the coast from Club 52. In addition to offering quick access to the beach, the hotel is four miles from the Brevard County, seven miles from the Andretti Thrill Park and four miles from the spring training stadium of the Washington Nationals baseball team. The Candlewood Suites features a free video and CD library as well as a 24-hour pantry with meal and snacks available for purchase. Guests can also cook at its outdoor barbecue area. Rooms started at $90 a night in the beginning of 2011.
The La Quinta Inn & Suites Melbourne is 3.5 miles due west of Club 52. Across the Interstate 95 freeway from the Brevard Zoo, the hotel is two miles from the the Space Coast Stadium & Avenue Mall. Guests receive a free breakfast at this hotel, which has a heated outdoor swimming pool and a guest laundry room. The hotel also has an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness center. This is one of the more affordable hotels in the area with rooms as low as $75 a night at the start of 2011.
