Mount Dora, Florida, is a small lakefront town 45 minutes northwest of Orlando. The town has no mountain and is not directly on a mountaintop; however, it's officially 184 feet above sea level, making it a "unofficial" mountaintop community. Mount Dora offers plenty of outdoor activities such as boating and fishing; golf; state and local parks; events; festivals; and sightseeing.
