Biloxi, Miss., is on the Gulf of Mexico and features casino resorts on coastal U.S. Highway 98. One Biloxi resort, the Hard Rock Casino, offers a live entertainment venue, dining options and casino floor. The Hard Rock is the only casino resort in Biloxi with a pet-friendly policy. Although it is not required, Hard Rock Casino does recommend that guests notify the hotel in advance if they are bringing pets with them.
The casino at Hard Rock Casino is on the ground floor of the hotel. Gaming facilities include over 1,200 slot machines, which include television-themed games such as the Wheel of Fortune Super Spin and Amazing Race. Hard Rock Casino has a poker room with weekly tournaments. Many of the tournaments are no-limit games, which means no betting limitations are enforced. The casino offers guests chances to join the Encore Players Club. Members receive amenities such as preferred seating on the casino floor and immediate access to gaming facilities.
Hard Rock Casino hotel has 318 guest rooms and suites. All the guest rooms have eclectic artwork on the walls. Some rooms have a king-size bed, while others have two queen-size beds. The hotel's suites, also referred to as Corset Suites, have living rooms and kitchenettes. As of November 2010, pets may stay for a one-time, non-refundable fee of $75. The fee covers any number of pets, but each pet must weigh less than 25 pounds. Also, guests must never leave their pets alone in the room.
The casino resort provides seven dining establishments on its premises. Fine dining establishments include Ruth's Chris, an upscale steakhouse, and Vibe, which serves steak and seafood entrees.. Vibe also offers cigars. Both restaurants are open for dinner every night of the week. Hard Rock Casino also offers casual eateries, such as the Hard Rock Cafe and Satisfactional, which has Southern-style cuisine on the menu. Breakfast food is at 24/7 Grille, a cafe-style restaurant open for 24 hours. The casino also has a Starbucks coffee shop and Ben & Jerry's ice cream parlor.
The Hard Rock Casino is home to the Hard Rock Live venue, which hosts rock music concerts, stand-up comedy and magic shows throughout the year. The venue offers standing space on the floor and balcony seating. Only guests 21 years or older can attend a show at Hard Rock Live. The casino features nightclubs and bars near the casino floor. These nightspots include the bar at Vibe restaurant and Center Bar, which also hosts live music from local bands. Local and regional country bands play at the resort's Roadhouse Live bar.
