Las Vegas Hotels With Large Pools

Las Vegas is known for world-class entertainment and luxury resorts. Many of the city's hotels provide large pools with features such as lazy rivers, wave machines, and cabanas. Such pools can be found on and near Las Vegas Boulevard in upscale resort-hotels such as the Hard Rock Hotel and the Mandalay Bay Resort.

  1. Hard Rock Hotel and Casino

    • The Hard Rock Hotel is a hip Vegas hotel situated one mile east of Las Vegas Boulevard. It features an 18-story hotel tower with 1,500 rooms. Guests will notice rock music inspired decorations and rock star memorabilia throughout the hotel. The hotel's palatial five acre pool area includes three large pools and four jacuzzis. Guests may relax in one of the pool's 40 Tahitian-style cabanas or try their luck on one of the pool's swim up blackjack tables.     Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino‎

    • Situated on the southern end of the Vegas strip, the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino is a 3,309 room property. It has been honored with the AAA Four Diamond Award. The resort features an 11 acre pool area where guests may lay poolside, float in the lazy river, or have fun in the 1.6 million gallon wave pool. Other activities within the resort include gambling in a 135,000-square-casino and relaxation in a 30,000-square-foot spa complete with 21 treatment rooms. The hotel's 17 dining options include a buffet and a steakhouse offering prime cuts of steak.

    The Luxor Hotel and Casino

    • Bearing the shape of a large Egyptian pyramid, the Luxor Hotel and Casino is a 30-story hotel with 4,408 rooms. It has a five acre pool area including four pools and cabanas with flat-screen televisions and stocked refrigerators. The Vegas website describes the pool area as one of the "least-confining" and prettiest pools in Las Vegas. Additional hotel features include an exhibit featuring artifacts from the famous sunken ship "Titanic" and a magic show hosted by world-famous magician Criss Angel. Hungry guests may dine at one of the hotel's six restaurants which include a steak & seafood restaurant, deli, and Irish pub.

    The Venetian Hotel and Casino

    • The Venetian is a mega-resort with 4,027 luxurious suites. Its interior design is inspired by the Italian city of Venice. Guests may relax and enjoy a drink in the property's five acre pool area complete with five pools, cocktail waitresses and a fully-stocked bar. After visiting the pool, guests may check out the Venetian's "Grand Canal Shoppes" where fine dining and upscale shopping in 70 restaurants and shops is available. Those interested in some of Vegas's best entertainment may enjoy two shows hosted by the hotel.
