Harbor Island is a man-made peninsula just off the coast of San Diego, California. This tiny peninsula acts as a harbor for several sail-and-pleasure boats. It is home to dozens of restaurants and a handful of hotels. These hotels are generally in close quarters with one another and will require parking passes displayed in the windshield of your vehicle to be certain you are staying at a particular hotel.

Shell Vacations Hospitality, also known as Harbor Vacations Club, is located in the harbor just off the coast of Harbor Island in San Diego. This property offers the chance to stay the night in a houseboat rather than a traditional hotel room. Houseboats range from single bedrooms that sleep two adults to two-bedroom vessels that sleep up to eight. Each ship comes equipped with television, washer, dryer, full-size showers and DVD player. A restaurant that is also owned by the hotel is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner on the pier.
