The Port of Miami is a massive hub connecting the United States to the Caribbean, South America and beyond. In fact, it's also called the "Cargo Gateway of the Americas." While Miami, in general, is full of hotels, a handful are particularly close to the port itself.

Like all Extended Stay hotels throughout the country, the Miami location, less than a mile inland from the port, is "designed especially for longer stays." The hotel is made up of studios that feature full-size beds, kitchens with refrigerators, microwaves and stove tops, as well as work stations with high-speed Internet access. Business services in the lobby provide fax and photocopying services and although this Extended Stay hotel does allow pets, it also charges a daily cleaning fee.
