The unincorporated community and Indian Reservation of Choctaw, Mississippi, is home to the massive Pearl River Resort. The resort was built by the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians, and includes a water park, a golf club with 36 holes and two hotels. The hotels have entertainment facilities, spas, restaurants and casinos. There are also a handful of hotels surrounding the resort.
The Silver Star was the first hotel and casino built in the Pearl River Resort. The hotel has nearly 500 rooms with more than 75 suites. The hotel includes a 30,000 square-foot conference center with five separate meeting rooms. Guests can choose from seven restaurants and two venues offering night life and musical entertainment. The 90,000-square-foot casino has 2,500 slot machines and eight poker tables.

The newest hotel owned by the tribe is the modernistic Golden Moon. The 28-story hotel has 571 rooms with 112 suites and 32 VIP suites. The 80,000 square-foot casino has 1,500 slots and 23 card and roulette tables. Visitors can dine in six restaurants or take in a show at the Xenon Lounge. The hotel also has a 116,00 square-foot conference center.

The Hilton built its own 140-guestroom hotel along the Dancing Rabbit Golf Club in the Pearl River Resort. Every hotel room has free wireless Internet access, work desks, microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. The hotel has a 24-hour business center, indoor pool, exercise room and a restaurant. There are 2,500 square feet of meeting space available.
