The island nation of Jamaica in the Caribbean is well-known for its warm tropical weather, beaches and scenery. Many tourists travel to Jamaica each year to swim and soak up the sun. There are a number of places to stay in Jamaica, but the island has a plethora of all-inclusive resorts. All-inclusive resorts are a convenient way to plan a vacation. They generally charge one price for all food, drinks, entertainment and amenities offered at the resort. Guests can sometimes add airfare to the price. Jamaica offers adult-only, couples and family all-inclusive hotels.
Sandals may be the most famous brand of all-inclusive resorts in the world. Sandals has several locations in Jamaica, with hotels in Montego Bay, Negril and Ocho Rios. Perhaps the most unusual is Sandals Whitehouse, set on a 500-acre wilderness preserve. The area has palm groves, mountains and two miles of white sand beach. The resort has more of everything, with seven restaurants, gardens, swimming pools and three European village areas, done in Dutch, French and Italian styles. Guests have their choice of staying in one of 360 beachfront suites or 80 luxury suites, some of which include personal butler service. The resort also offers a huge number of activities, including beach volleyball, squash, tennis and scuba diving. Guests can work out in the full-service fitness center and then relax in the steam room or sauna.
