Marshfield is located in central Wisconsin in Wood and Marathon counties, about 45 miles southwest of Wausau. As of the 2008 Census, the population of Marshfield was approximately 20,000 people. The town is home to the world's largest round barn, the Central Wisconsin State Fair, and the Wildwood Park and Zoo.
