Healy is located about 12 miles north of the entrance to Denali National Park along AK 3. There is no public transportation between the town and the park; most smaller, inexpensive motel properties don't offer shuttles, so you'll want to rent a vehicle. Healy is 80 miles from the city of Fairbanks, where you'll find the Fairbanks International Airport. The primary tourist season runs from mid-May to Mid-September.
