Formerly known as Union Township, Westchester Township is 18 miles north of Cincinnati along the Interstate 75 corridor between Dayton and Cincinnati. The community was once the home to the Voice of America Bethany relay station, which broadcast American propaganda overseas from the end of World War II until the mid-90s. Westchester is also home to the Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati and houses one of the largest mosques in the state. The township's motto is "Where Families Grow and Businesses Prosper."
