The Pittsburgh International Airport, located west of downtown Pittsburgh, straddles the border between Allegheny and Beaver counties. There are quite a number of hotels that are conveniently located near the airport, and they range from full-service, business-traveler-friendly hotels to lower-cost inns and motels. The Hyatt Regency is the only hotel that is physically connected to the airport via a covered walkway. The nightly room rates are typically upward of $200, but the convenience of the location, plus amenities such as a fitness center, a business center, multiple meeting rooms and on-site event planners, make this a useful hotel for business travelers.

The Embassy Suites is located just outside the airport perimeter. It also has nightly rates upward of $200. According to the Embassy Suites website, of the 200-plus guest rooms in this facility, 70 are two-room suites consisting of a bedroom and a living area. In addition to having the normal business hotel amenities, such as a business center, a fitness center and meeting rooms, this hotel is pet-friendly.

The Courtyard by Marriott is a lower-priced hotel with rooms running between $100 and $200 per night, depending on the package selected. It has many of the normal amenities for business travelers and offers wired and wireless high-speed Internet access in the public areas and meeting rooms. Wired access is offered in the guest rooms as well.
