While the airport offers more expensive short and long-term parking on the premises, 8,000 spaces are available at the extended parking lot. The $8 daily rate (as of November 2010) includes shuttle bus service to and from the terminals and lots are patrolled by the Allegheny County Police.
There are lots of private parking lots and garages near the Pittsburgh International Airport, most accommodate cars, trucks, SUVs and vans. Many are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and some include services such as luggage assistance and shuttle service to and from the airport. Valet service is also available at off-site lots. Prices start around $7 daily(as of November 2010).
Many airport hotels, and hotels in the vicinity of the Pittsburgh International Airport, offer stay and park options. Some include up to two weeks free parking with a one night stay. This is an especially convenient option for early morning travelers.
