Economy long-term parking is also offered at a weekly rate of $40; this garage is a short walk from the long-term parking area.
Less than eight miles from the Savannah International Airport is the Whitaker Street Garage, which has four underground levels and can park up to 1,065 vehicles. Parking rates are a maximum of $16 per day, and cashier hours run 24 hours a day, seven days a week. While there is no free shuttle from the garage, local taxi cabs are available for the short 20-minute drive to the airport.
Built in 1983 and with space for up to 460 vehicles, this garage offers maximum daily rates of $10--or $70 for weekly parking--and is open late, with Sunday through Friday hours of 5 a.m. to 1 a.m., and Saturday open 24 hours. The garage is a short seven-mile drive to the International Savannah/Hilton Head Airport by taxi cab.
