Empire Parking Near Burbank Airport

The Empire Parking facility at the Burbank, California, airport has been renamed Southwest Parking. It occupies a narrow strip of land between Vanowen Street and Empire Avenue at the southern end of the airport that parallels the Metrolink rail line.

    • The parking area is almost one mile long. It is securely fenced and monitored 24 hours a day by lot personnel and security cameras. Users enter the lot from the left when traveling west on Empire Avenue.

    Airport Access

    • There is no shuttle service to the airport. It is a quarter of a mile from the center of the parking area to the airport entrance. Wheeled luggage is recommended.

    Reservations and Payment

    • This facility accepts online reservations. You may pay parking fees with Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover or Diners Club credit cards.

    Name Changes

    • In addition to the parking area name change from Empire Parking to Southwest Parking, Burbank Airport has been renamed Bob Hope Airport.
