The first level of the MDW parking garage is meant for hourly parking with a maximum of three hours. The garage is close to the airport terminal and ideal to use when dropping off or picking up travelers. As of October 2010, rates are $4 for the first hour with a daily maximum of $50. The first ten minutes of parking are free.
Levels four, five and six of the MDW parking garage are meant for daily or long-term parking. The garage provides travelers with easy access to the airport terminal. As of October 2010, rates are $4 for the first hour with a daily maximum of $28. The first 10 minutes of parking are free.
Midway airport has three non-covered economy parking lots. All three can accommodate both short and long-term parking. A complimentary shuttle service is available to take travelers to and from the airport terminal. As of October 2010, rates are $2 for the first hour with a daily maximum of $14.
Off-site parking is provided within a two-mile radius from the airport. Several non-covered, 24-hour parking lots are available that provide both short and long-term parking. Some of the off-site lots are Midway Easy Parking, Airport Parking Express, Airways Parking, and Midway Park Ride and Fly. Shuttle services are available and 24-hour lot security is provided. As of October 2010, parking costs range from $6.50 to $12 per day.
