Parking Near Midway Airport in Chicago

According to the Chicago Department of Aviation, Midway International Airport (MDW) is one of the fastest growing airports in the nation. Travelers using the airport have various parking options to choose from. Before traveling it's good to do some homework so you know where to park for the best price.
  1. On-site hourly parking

    • The first level of the MDW parking garage is meant for hourly parking with a maximum of three hours. The garage is close to the airport terminal and ideal to use when dropping off or picking up travelers. As of October 2010, rates are $4 for the first hour with a daily maximum of $50. The first ten minutes of parking are free.

    On-site daily parking

    • Levels four, five and six of the MDW parking garage are meant for daily or long-term parking. The garage provides travelers with easy access to the airport terminal. As of October 2010, rates are $4 for the first hour with a daily maximum of $28. The first 10 minutes of parking are free.

    On-Site Lot parking

    • Midway airport has three non-covered economy parking lots. All three can accommodate both short and long-term parking. A complimentary shuttle service is available to take travelers to and from the airport terminal. As of October 2010, rates are $2 for the first hour with a daily maximum of $14.

    Off-site parking

    • Off-site parking is provided within a two-mile radius from the airport. Several non-covered, 24-hour parking lots are available that provide both short and long-term parking. Some of the off-site lots are Midway Easy Parking, Airport Parking Express, Airways Parking, and Midway Park Ride and Fly. Shuttle services are available and 24-hour lot security is provided. As of October 2010, parking costs range from $6.50 to $12 per day.
