Spanning 363 miles of coastline, according to the Oregon Tourism Commission, the Oregon Coast features panoramic views, sandy beaches and quaint coastal towns. Visitors planning to travel with their furry friends have several pet-friendly choices along the coast.

  1. North

    • For luxury accommodations on the northern coast that allows pets, try Astoria's Cannery Pier, which provides a dog bed and healthy treats. Beachfront options that provide places for pets to roam sandy beaches include Seaside's Comfort Inn and Tolovana Inn at Cannon Beach, which also includes a pet relief area with disposal bags provided.

    Central

    • In Newport on the central coast, reserve a pet-friendly room at the oceanfront Hallmark Resort. Ground-floor rooms provide easy access for walking dogs, and furry friends are given a basket of treats upon arrival. The Fireside Motel in Yachats allows up to two well-behaved pets and is located near a trail leading to seven miles of sandy beaches.
