The Oregon Coast provides tourists with chances for swimming and surfing activities in the Pacific Ocean, but it also features award-winning and boutique accommodations. The hotels on Oregon's Coast are not only minutes away from beaches, they also offer chances for fishing and kayaking in the Columbia and Rogue Rivers. Also, these hotels are easily accessible from the Oregon Coast Highway, making them hard to miss.

  1. Hotel Elliott

    • Located in Northern Oregon, the Hotel Elliott is in the coastal city of Astoria, less than a mile from the Columbia River. The hotel is within walking distance of jogging and cycling opportunities on the Astoria Riverwalk trail, which runs parallel to the river. Local dining is available at Fort George Restaurant and T. Paul's Supper Club, both less than five minutes from the hotel, and theatrical performances can be seen across the street at the Liberty Theater.

      This hotel was built in 1924 and is patterned after the boutique hotels in Manhattan during the Roaring 20s. This hotel features log cabin-style accommodations on the banks of the Rogue River, less than 15 minutes from the Pacific Coast. The hotel's restaurant, open from May through October, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner; the dining room has scenic views of the Rogue River.

      Fishing piers and kayaking slips on the Rogue River are only steps away from the guest rooms at Tu Tu' Tun Lodge. The lodge provides rentals for kayaks and jet boats. Shopping and off-site dining options in downtown Gold Beach are approximately 15 minutes from the hotel.

    Stephanie Inn

    • Stephanie Inn in Northern Oregon's Cannon Beach is a four-diamond AAA hotel with beachfront views from its guest rooms.
