Guests have 24-hour access to the hotel's Fitness Center, which includes a large indoor pool and whirlpool with a view of the Detroit River, as well as other highlights such as a tennis court, a jogging trail, and a sauna. Detroit's Downtown Holiday Inn Express provides guests 24-hour access to its indoor heated pool. This hotel allows small pets in kennels for a charge. The sports bar Big Grill is open until 2 a.m. on the first floor. According to TripAdvisor the Express is also one of the less expensive options, with rooms from $98 per night as of 2010.
